In 2019, the occasion of the commemoration of the “100 years of multilateralism” was offered to realize the first Viennese Ball in French-speaking Switzerland. This first ball, organized according to the Viennese tradition in Geneva had taken place on June 6, 2019 in the salons of the Ritz-Carlton, Hotel de la Paix, Geneva in the presence of 200 guests from the Geneva society and the international diplomatic circle. Viennese balls have a long tradition of helping to deepen networks, existing cultural and economic contacts and friendly relations between cities.
