The Friends of Viennese Ball Music are committed to promoting cultural exchange between the cities of Vienna and Geneva, in particular by organizing cultural and musical events and in particular a Ball in the Viennese tradition. I am all the more pleased that this initiative was realized for the first time in the Art of Geneva on June 6, 2019 in the salons of the Ritz-Carlton, Hotel de la Paix, as I myself am originally from Vienna and Geneva by adoption.

A Viennese Ball in Geneva allows to link these two important UN capitals through the Geneva heritage and the Viennese tradition in a spirit of openness and friendship.

It is therefore with great joy that we can welcome this initiative.
